Hoggleys are very proud to announce that they have just been awarded the “Best Local Drink - Runner Up” for our Northamptonshire Bitter in the Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards 2009. The finals of these awards were held at Holdenby House Food Fair on August 30th/31st 2009 where the results were announced.
We have also received a Rosette for our Brewery in the 2009 CAMRA Good Bottled Beer Guide and Gold Stars for four of our beers:
Solstice Stout 5%, Mill Lane Mild 4%, Yuletide Ale 7.2% and again for our Northamptonshire Bitter 4%. This stands for “Outstanding individual examples of real ale in a bottle – consistently good and full of character.”
We shall again be brewing our Yuletide Ale 7.2% in time for Christmas and we will have 3 bottle gift packs available - the perfect gift. Just contact us if you would like to pre-order any, they tend to go rather fast!!
Our latest beer is Indian Summer. It is a full-bodied India Pale Ale gloriously hoppy and a full 5%. Brewed initially for Brewers Wholesale and unveiled for the first time at The Sun Inn, Kislingbury this new edition is set to become a permanent feature of the Hoggleys portfolio.
